Welcome, you have arrived at the home page of Operating Engineers Local Union No, 9. Local 9 have been serving the needs of Operating Engineers in Colorado for over 60 years. We have offices to serve our members and employers in Denver, Pueblo, and Grand Junction. Together with our employers, Local 9 has the best Apprenticeship and Journeyman Training program in Colorado. Our goal is to provide continued training and upgrading skills for our members. The challenge of the changing construction industry in Colorado will be met by Local 9 through training, education and organizing. To our IUOE #9 Members,

We know the last few weeks have been a whirlwind and we are keeping everyone in our thoughts. Working together as a community we will all be stronger on the other side of this. We know it is important to do our part to keep our members safe for your family and ours. It is important as members to be adaptable in these types of situations and still meet the expectations of our employers. In accordance with current COVID-19 guidelines, we temporarily have not had any issues at our COLORADO locations beginning today, Tuesday, March 17th, 2020 and ask if you need to contact us directly that you call or email. However, we are still here for you.

We will be operating under normal business hours M-F 7-5 also visit www.iuoelocal9.com. It is important to us that because of this everyone stay safe and we are canceling ALL of our Membership Meetings for the month of April 2020. All notices have been emailed and USPS mailed and will also be posted on our website, please visit www.iuoelocal9.com for all updated closures and information. Travelers

All travelers are expected to check in and out of the jurisdiction when performing work in Colorado.

Travel dues:

6/30/2019-6/27/2020 are $20.65/week

6/28/2020-12/26/2020 are $21.35/week

While performing work each week. You may have your employer deduct and remit the Travel dues to IUOE #9 @ 990 Kalamath St, Denver, CO 80204 to do so you will need to fill out, sign & complete this form:

If you choose to do automatic payments directly with IUOE #9 you may fill out the attached from & remember it is your responsibility to check in & check out when performing work in Colorado:

IUOE LOCAL 9 DUES RATE CARD (Subject to Increase as of 1/1/2021)
(4 Ways of Paying):

1) To have your employer take them out of your paychecks (Dues Check-off) & you may obtain that form from your employer or the hall or click on the below forms to download and remit to your employer payroll dept/office: 

  • * 9H dues 7/1/2019-6/30/2019 @ $89.50/mo. (If wages are higher than $24.78/hr.)
  • * 9H dues 7/1/2020-12/31/2020 @ $92.50/mo. (If wages are higher than $25.54/hr.)

 

  • * 9L dues @ $77.80/mo. (If wages are lower than $24.79/hr.)
  • * 9L dues @ $80.80/mo. (If wages are lower than $25.54/hr.)    

     

2) US Mail: your “Dues Reminder” with your payment to IUOE#9, 990 Kalamath St, PO BOX 40008, Denver, CO 80204

3) Call in a payment to the office M-F 7am-5pm: @ p #(303) 623-3194 ext. 11 Jodie, ext. 20 Rhonnie or ext. 19 Tammy & pay via credit card/debit card, or charge a checking/savings acct.
