The Training site will be open, but only to a limited number using the online reservation form. Priority will be given to current apprentices who are required to get their training hours in. No Call in RSVPs will be accepted. You must RSVP on line to complete the COVID-19 questionnaire.

Forklift Operation

This course will prepare the member in taking the Forklift Operator written examination with an opportunity to take the Forklift Operator Assessment. 

Forklift Operator Training: January 15, 2022

Tele Handler/ Practical Exam Qualification: January 22, 2022.

Diesel Fundamentals (basic of diesel engines and how they work):

December 18, 2021 or February 12, 2022: Morning Class

Hydraulic Fundamentals(basics of hydraulics and how they work):

December 18, 2021 or February 12, 2022:  Afternoon Class.

 

Crane Training is Scheduled for the following dates.


 NCCCO Classes 2022:

Crane Standards: February 19, 2022

NCCCO Load Charts: February 26, 2022

NCCCO Rigger 1/ Signal Person: February 27, 2022

NCCCO Review: March 5, 2022

NCCCO Written Exams: March 6, 2022.

CJAT TRAINING INFORMATION

Training is open only to IUOE Local 9 Journeymen and Apprentices 

All Apprentices and Journeyman must have a PAID-to-Date Union Dues Receipt with them to use the Training Site. Training starts at 7:00 am and you must have reserved training train in advance(48 to 24 hours). Equipment will not be held if are not here by 7:00 am.

Training starts at 7:00 a.m. sharp if you are late your equipment will not be held for you and reservation voided. On Saturdays there is a mandatory safety meeting that starts at 7:00 am. If you miss the safety meeting  and do not have your paid-to-date Dues Receipt, you will not be able to train at the Site that day. You are expect to remain at training the training site for full day. This is not a come and go when you want training facility. Failure to remain will result in you  not be able to reserve equipment.

YOU MUST WEAR THE PROPER ATTIRE (BOOTS, LONG PANTS, AND EAR PROTECTION). YOU SHOULD ALSO CONSIDER WARM CLOTHES OR RAIN GEAR DEPENDING ON WEATHER CONDITIONS. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE BOOTS OR LONG PANTS, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED ON THE EQUIPMENT.
