Welcome, you have arrived at the home page of Operating Engineers Local Union No, 9. Local 9 have been serving the needs of Operating Engineers in Colorado for over 60 years. We have offices to serve our members and employers in Denver, Pueblo, and Grand Junction. Together with our employers, Local 9 has the best Apprenticeship and Journeyman Training program in Colorado. Our goal is to provide continued training and upgrading skills for our members. The challenge of th

e changing construction industry in Colorado will be met by Local 9 through training, education and organizing. Please browse through our web site and see what Local 9 has to offer workers and employers alike in the construction industry today and in the future.

TRAVELERS: All travelers are expected to check in and out of the jurisdiction when performing work in Colorado.

Travel dues are $19.38/week while performing work each week. You may have your employer deduct and remit the Travel dues to IUOE #9 @ 990 Kalamath St, Denver, CO 80204 to do so you will need to fill out, sign & complete this form: 

If you choose to do automatic payments directly with IUOE #9 you may fill out the attached from & remember it is your responsibility to check in & check out when performing work in Colorado:

(4 Ways of Paying):

  • 1) To have your employer take them out of your paychecks (Dues Check-off) & you may obtain that form from your employer or the hall or click on the below forms to download and remit to your employer payroll dept/office: 
  • * 9H dues @ $84.00/mo if wages are higher than $23.46/hr = 
  • * 9L dues @ $72.30/mo if wages are lower than $23.47/hr= 
  • 2) US Mail your “Weekly Fee Reminder” or “Dues Reminder” with your payment
  •  
  • 3) Call in a payment to the office @ p #(303) 623-3194 ext. 11 Jodie or ext. 19 Mandi & pay via credit card/debit card, or charge a checking/savings acct.
  • 4) You may call the office @ p #(303) 623-3194 ext. 11 Jodie or ext. 19 Mandi & arrange for automatic payments via credit card/debit card, or charge a checking/savings acct. or download the below dues authorization form to authorize your dues payments. Once completed you may email, fax or USPS mail the completed form to IUOE #9.
